by RACHEL LANE Jobs Supervisor | Best Buddies California If you happened to be watch the “Ellen Degeneres Show” on May 21, 2009 you most likely caught one of our buddies Bradley showcasing his FANTASTIC dance moves in the studio audience. Bradley is a HUGE fan of the Ellen Show (He watches it every day after work!) So upon reaching his one year anniversary in the mailroom at Paradigm Talent Agency, the Best Buddies Jobs program sprang into action to get him tickets to the show. Deputy Director of Jobs Amber Coffman reached out to NBC Chairman Ben Silverman to help make Bradley's wish a reality. Silverman was able to pull some strings to secure VIP tickets so Bradley and his Employment Consultant Rachel Lane could attend a taping of the show together. Bradley and Rachel were seated in the fourth row during the taping of the Ellen show. Before the show, Ellen's DJ Tony played dance music to pump up the 300 person crowd. Ellen staff members canvas the audience to find the best dancers to invite up the front of the stage to show off their dance moves. Bradley was the second person invited to strut his stuff!! Rachel watched as Bradley walked up to the front of the stage and began doing a dance routine ala John Travolta in “Saturday Night Fever”. The crowd went crazy and screamed and applauded for Bradley!! It was a moment that he will never forget!! After the show taping, Bradley and Rachel were given special gift bags with Ellen merchandise and were taken on a golf cart tour around the Warner Brothers back lot by Ellen employee extraordinaire Ryan Kawamoto. Bradley loved the opportunity to see where shows like “Two and a Half Men”, and “The New Adventures of Old Christine” are shot.
